Global Platform For DRR 2025

There has been a lot happening at the Global Platform for DRR in Geneva already and plenty more until it closes on Friday. We have an Inclusion Hub and Pledge Wall https://globalplatform.undrr.org/conference-event/gender-pledge-wall-and-inclusion-hub coordinated by Duryog Nivaran https://duryognivaran.org/ which was launched by Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, and Head of UNDRR, Kamal Kishore, who added his own three pledges from UNDRR.

Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina J. Mohammed stopped by and made her mark for gender inclusion – adding a pledge to the Gender Pledge Wall. 

Gender is very much on the agenda now at the Global Platform.
